Thanksgiving is often associated with football. The Cowbows have been playing on Thanksgiving Day since 1966. There is the annual UVa vs Virginia Tech game the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving, for many families in Hampton Roads, means family and football and instead of commenting on the pros or taking a side in the Commonweath cup – we want to instead introduce you to our favorite team – Ruffner Middle!
This year our #RWNewHomes team was able to be the “12th Man” for the Ruffner Middle School Football season. Our New Homes Managers went under the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise over $2,000 and the team won it’s championship.
“I kinda feel like these are OUR kids,” said New Homes agent Bea CoBell.
