As if that isn’t cool enough, each new construction builder that participates in the program sponsors the dog by paying for its adoption fees once a suitable owner is found! Jen is 100% committed to finding people and pets their forever homes in Hampton Roads and beyond! She has five dogs of her own at home, and each one is a very special member of the Barkan household!
I started my posts about King’s Fork Farm on social media on Tuesday. I know that many people follow #AskJenLive and look forward to finding about a new community each week! I love helping my fellow real estate partners and anyone looking for a new construction home to find the right place.
Every Wednesday morning, I get excited about going to the Norfolk SPCA and finding my furry friend. This week, I was especially looking forward to this visit! I went to SPCA and my eyes were caught by a black and white Shih Tzu named Coco. At first, he seemed a little timid, but within minutes he completely warmed up to me.
Coco came to the Norfolk SPCA from a single owner family where he lived for the last 7-8 years. He was purchased from a pet store and was well taken care of and pampered! He frequently went to doggy day care and got along well with children, other dogs, and cats. Coco was well groomed when I met him, and an absolute gentleman!
It was a cloudy day but Coco sure did brighten it up! Our New Homes Digital Marketing Manager, Bridget Lafleur, joined us for the day. When we arrived at King’s Fork Farm, we met the on-site Realtor, Jay Osborough. Coco had an instant affinity for Jay and rewarded him with a few puppy kisses. Jay guided Bridget, Coco, and I on a tour of the new home designs that are available at King’s Fork Farm. He has six new homes under construction in the front of the neighborhood and more homesites available in the back of the neighborhood.
