Donate $25 to Help Feed Families Across Hampton Roads.The Rose & Womble Foundation has distributed Thanksgiving baskets to families in need for the past 23 years. This project has grown from our first year basket count of 3 to over 1,000 last year! This year we will feed 1,350! Each Turkey Basket contains enough food for six people including a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, apples, potatoes, canned peas, corn, green beans, gravy, rolls, and a roasting pan.
We work closely with local social services offices, Friends of the Elderly, Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing and the military to find families in need of a Thanksgiving meal. Deltaville Market and Richfoods provide the best quality food items at the most affordable prices.
If you want to help you can purchase a basket for $25 dollars so a family can enjoy a full Thanksgiving. You can purchase it on our Foundation website.
