Tides Night Brings Over $1500 to Rose & Womble Foundation

Rose & Womble agents, employees, and guests came together to enjoy a night of fun and to raise money for the Rose & Womble Foundation’s general fund with the Norfolk Tides.

The 1st annual Rose & Womble Foundation Night was organized by the Foundation Board as a way to have fun but also help the Foundation grow.  The night was considered a success by many of the agents who attending the evening event.

“I had a great time at the Tides game hanging out with friends and colleagues while supporting a great cause,” said Rose & Womble Property Manager Kelly Guzman.

Over 400 tickets were sold for the event – purchased by Rose & Womble agents, property managers, and employees.  Many of the participants used the evening as a client appreciation event.  Guests enjoyed the baseball game – the Tides won – and were also entertained by the Hurrah Players and Reggie the Purple Party Dude.  The fireworks at the end of the game that were themed to rock music and were also a huge hit.

“What a blessing to raise money for the Rose & Womble Foundation, while enjoying a the greatest American past time with my fellow REALTORS!!  It was truly a fun night with friends, family and clients, Rose & Womble hit it out of the park,” said Holland Road Office Agent Jenni McFarland.

Suffolk agent Ryan Benton was able to throw out the first pitch and the Foundation was able to raise over $1500 for various programs.

“It was great that the whole company got behind this fundraiser.  This was the first year but I can see us hosting this night year-after-year.  I can’t say enough good things about the Tides organization – they made it so easy and fun, ” said Tides Night Organizer Ramona Rice.
