March 2015 Home Sales Increase Double Digits Over March 2014
We have been continually sharing the news that the real estate market in Hampton Roads is robust and ready for more sellers. Sales in March 2015 were up 21.8% over sales in March 2014. Nationally sales were only up 10.4% according to the National Association of REALTORS®. Home sellers should anticipate more buyers getting into the market with new government first-time buyer programs opening up grant funds. With more qualified buyers and inventory in specific price points low, some sellers are enjoying receiving multiple offers.
