December can be a really interesting month in real estate. With people focused on gift giving, housing sales typically slow down. But this year we saw significant growth both in the overall Hampton Roads real estate market but also within Rose & Womble.
According to the Real Estate Information Network (REIN), Rose & Womble was the top real estate company in December for all of Hampton Roads across all categories including sales, listings, and under contract sales. Rose & Womble was 14% higher in Under Contract Volume than our closest competitor (William E Wood) for December. Rose & Womble also increased its under contract sales volume from 2013 by 27%. This is a great sign that the market is improving.
